C. Graham Spice

Music Technologist • Educator • Interactive Media Producer

Graham Spice is a music technologist, educator, and interactive media producer with over 25 years of experience across commercial music production, higher education, and interactive audio.

Currently on a yearlong sabbatical as Visiting Associate Professor at Rangsit Conservatory of Music in Thailand, Graham teaches advanced courses in mixing, mastering, and electronic music production to international students. He holds the tenured rank of Associate Professor at Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia, where he serves as Program Director for the Bachelor of Arts in Collaborative Audio Arts (BA.CAA).

Graham’s work spans commercial pop production, immersive media, and game audio. He invented “The Phantom,” a custom touchscreen sampling instrument that became the “secret weapon” for Keith Urban’s ripCord and Graffiti U world tours, and has led audio implementation for VR experiences including projects available on the Meta Quest store. He is certified as an Ableton Certified Trainer, Avid Certified Instructor (Pro Tools), and Wwise Certified Instructor.

As a producer and engineer, Graham has worked with artists including the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, Keith Urban, Tracy Silverman, and Sally Mann. His recent work includes engineering for Royce Campbell (#1 most-added to Jazz Radio) and a featured interview in the PBS documentary Wes Bound: The Genius of Wes Montgomery, winner of a Silver Award at the New York Festivals TV and Film Awards.

Graham holds an MS in Music Technology from IUPUI and is a member of the Audio Engineering Society and a NAMM University Affiliate. He continues to produce and perform on guitar, keyboards, and computer. Explore samples of his work throughout this site.
